Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 12, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VidPeek (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What VidPeek does
VidPeek helps you find YouTube videos that match what you're looking for by analyzing publicly available video information and captions. Results are produced by automated systems and AI models, and are provided for convenience. We don't guarantee that any result is complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.
2. How searches run in your browser
While a search is running, VidPeek may ask your browser to download the caption text of candidate videos directly from YouTube and pass it back to us, instead of routing that traffic through our servers. By using the Service you consent to this. It transfers caption text only — never video or audio — and it is sent without your YouTube cookies or any referrer. If it is blocked or unavailable, our servers do the work instead and your results are unchanged. See our Privacy Policy for what YouTube can observe.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).
4. Acceptable use
- Don't abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Don't use VidPeek for unlawful purposes or to infringe others' rights.
- Don't attempt to bypass usage limits, payments, or security measures.
5. Plans, credits & payments
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. Credits are consumed per search beyond your plan's included quota. Prices may change with notice. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable; however, we may issue refunds at our discretion. Payments are processed by third-party gateways, and their terms also apply.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your billing page; you'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Third-party content
VidPeek references content hosted on YouTube and other platforms. We don't own, control, or endorse that content, and we're not affiliated with YouTube or Google. Your use of any linked video is subject to that platform's terms.
To evaluate a video we retrieve its publicly available captions and keep a copy so the same video does not have to be fetched repeatedly. Captions remain the property of the video's creator or rights holder. We show only short excerpts as evidence for a match, alongside a link to the moment in the original video, and we do not republish full transcripts. If you are a rights holder and want a video's captions removed from our cache, contact us and we will remove them.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that results will be accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidPeek will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost time, profits, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior three months.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
